The Institute for HealthCare Consumerism™ Interviews Paylogix President Richard Pfadenhauer
Last week, the hosts of HealthCare Consumerism Radio, Andrew Dietz and Doug Field, interviewed Paylogix founder and president, Richard Pfadenhauer about his insights into the emerging private exchange market, and the significance of Paylogix' Consolidated Billing® service.
Pfadenhauer was asked to speak about an emerging technological development at Paylogix, the new Exchange Builder™ platform. Describing the new broker do-it yourself-tool, Pfadenhauer stated that, "Exchange Builder is intended to empower benefits professionals to bring private exchange solutions down-market to address that 50% of consumers not being catered to today." The new cloud-based Exchange Builder platform was released a month ago and is ready for brokers to use. While this platform is new, it incorporates tried and true Paylogix technology that was developed over 2 decades in the insurance industry.
Recognizing Pfadenhauer's contribution to developing reliable technologies for the insurance industry, Dietz stated, "Consolidated Billing® is so incredibility important in this opportunity market. The back-end is incredibly important. I mean you have got multiple choice plans, your presenting employers and their advisors with multiple challenges, if they don't have Consolidated Billing®"
